Counter-IED

Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) refers to a series of strategies, technologies, and tactics deployed to detect, neutralize, and mitigate the threat posed by improvised explosive devices (IEDs). IEDs are homemade bombs often used in conflicts and terrorist activities. C-IED includes the development of detection methods (like advanced sensors), bomb disposal techniques, intelligence gathering, and training for military and law enforcement personnel. The goal is to protect people and infrastructure from the dangers posed by these explosives and ensure safety in areas where they are a risk.
