Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) is a non-profit corporation established in 1971 to manage the assets of the Cook Inlet Region of Alaska for the benefit of its Native shareholders. Originally formed as part of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, CIRI focuses on economic development, land management, and community services. It engages in diverse industries, including real estate, tourism, and oil and gas. CIRI aims to enhance the quality of life for its shareholders, who are primarily Alaska Native individuals, by providing financial returns, cultural support, and sustainable development in the region.
