Contraceptive Choice Project
The Contraceptive Choice Project was a research initiative aimed at understanding and improving access to contraceptive methods for women. Conducted in St. Louis, it provided free contraceptives and education about various options, allowing participants to choose what best suited their needs. The project aimed to determine how access to a wider range of birth control options affected usage and rates of unintended pregnancies. The findings showed that when women have the ability to choose from multiple contraceptive methods, they generally choose more effective options, leading to better reproductive health outcomes.
