Content Externalism
Content externalism is a philosophical view that suggests the meanings of our thoughts and beliefs are influenced by external factors, such as our environment and social context, rather than just our internal mental states. In the context of general knowledge, this means that what we know and how we understand information can be shaped by our interactions with the world around us, including the language we use and the experiences we have with others. Therefore, one's knowledge isn't solely dependent on what's happening inside their mind but is also deeply connected to the external world.
