Competition climbing

Competition climbing is a sport where athletes compete to climb artificial rock walls with various routes and difficulties. There are two main formats: bouldering, which involves climbing shorter walls without ropes, usually with crash pads for safety, and lead climbing, where climbers ascend taller walls while being tethered to a rope.
