Compensated Work Therapy (CWT)
Compensated Work Therapy (CWT) is a program designed to help veterans with mental health challenges, such as PTSD or depression, reintegrate into the workforce. It provides them with meaningful work opportunities that are structured, supportive, and flexible, allowing them to earn income while developing job skills. CWT's goal is to promote recovery and improve quality of life by fostering a sense of purpose and community involvement. Participants may work in various settings, both in the community and within the Department of Veterans Affairs, to help ease their transition back into full-time employment.
