Commission Européenne
The Commission Européenne, or European Commission, is the executive arm of the European Union (EU). It proposes legislation, implements decisions, manages policies, and coordinates the EU's activities. Composed of commissioners from each EU member state, it ensures that EU laws are applied and works to uphold the common interests of the EU as a whole. The Commission also represents the EU in international matters. Essentially, it acts like a government for the EU, driving initiatives to promote peace, stability, and prosperity among member countries.
