Commission européenne (CE)
The European Commission (CE) is the executive branch of the European Union, responsible for proposing and implementing EU laws, managing day-to-day operations, and representing the EU internationally. It acts in the interest of the entire EU, ensuring that policies are consistent, fair, and promote economic growth, stability, and citizen welfare. The Commission also oversees the proper use of EU funds and enforces EU laws across member states. Comprising appointed commissioners, each overseeing specific policy areas, it functions as the EU’s administrative engine, working to achieve common goals and coordinate actions among member countries.
