Colossal squid

The colossal squid, known scientifically as Mesonychoteuthis Hamiltoni, is one of the largest invertebrates in the world, found in the deep waters of the Antarctic. It can grow up to 14 meters (about 46 feet) long, with large eyes that are among the biggest in the animal kingdom. This elusive creature has a robust body and long tentacles equipped with sharp suckers, helping it catch prey like fish and other squid. Due to its deep-sea habitat, the colossal squid is rarely seen and remains mysterious, making it a topic of fascination in marine biology and popular culture.
