Co-evolution
Co-evolution refers to the process where two or more species influence each other's evolution. For instance, when a plant develops traits to attract pollinators, those pollinators, in turn, may evolve adaptations that make them more effective at gathering nectar from that plant. This mutual influence can lead to a variety of changes, such as increased specialization and diversity in both species. Co-evolution can also occur between different organisms, such as predators and prey, leading to a dynamic relationship that shapes the evolutionary paths of each.
