City of London
The City of London, often referred to simply as "the City," is a small area in central London known as a financial hub. It covers about 1.12 square miles and serves as the historic core of London. Unlike Greater London, which includes the surrounding boroughs, the City has its own local authority and unique governance. It is home to many major banks, financial institutions, and the London Stock Exchange. The City of London has a rich history, with landmarks such as St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London, and it is often considered one of the world's leading financial centers.
