Champagne Service Standards
Champagne service standards refer to the proper techniques and etiquette for serving champagne to enhance the experience. This includes selecting appropriate glassware, ideally flutes or coupes, ensuring the champagne is chilled to 45-50°F (7-10°C), and opening the bottle carefully to avoid spillage. When pouring, fill the glass about two-thirds full to allow for the bubbles to develop. Always serve from the right side, and never let the bottle touch the glass. Finally, understand and respect the context, whether it's a celebration or a formal event, to create a memorable experience for the guests.
