Chamber (hyperbaric chamber)
A hyperbaric chamber is a sealed environment where the air pressure is increased higher than normal atmospheric pressure. This allows patients to breathe pure oxygen, which can enhance healing for certain medical conditions, such as decompression sickness, carbon monoxide poisoning, and non-healing wounds. During treatment, patients are placed inside the chamber for a set period while the pressure is adjusted. The increased oxygen levels can improve blood flow and reduce inflammation, aiding recovery. Hyperbaric therapy is a medically supervised procedure used in various healthcare settings.
