Carnivora

Carnivora is an order of mammals that primarily consists of predators and meat-eaters, including animals like cats, dogs, bears, and seals. They are characterized by features such as sharp teeth for tearing flesh, strong jaws, and acute senses suited for hunting. Members of Carnivora vary in size and habitat, but all share adaptations that enable them to efficiently catch and consume other animals. They play important roles in their ecosystems as top or secondary predators, helping maintain balanced food chains. Carnivorans can be solitary or social and range from small animals like stoats to large apex predators like lions.
