
Cao Cao (politician)
Cao Cao (155-220 AD) was a prominent warlord, politician, and poet during China's late Eastern Han dynasty. He is best known for unifying northern China and laying the groundwork for what would later become the Kingdom of Wei in the Three Kingdoms period. A skilled military strategist, Cao Cao's leadership helped him defeat rival factions and expand his power. He is often depicted as both a tyrant and a wise ruler in historical texts and popular culture, notably in the novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," which presents his complex character and legacy.
