California Water Fix
The California Water Fix was a proposed project aimed at improving the state's water supply system. It sought to upgrade the way water is transported from Northern California to Southern California by building new tunnels under the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. The goal was to enhance water reliability, protect ecosystems, and reduce the impact of droughts. By rerouting water more efficiently, the project aimed to ensure a stable water supply for millions of people and agriculture while addressing environmental concerns related to the Delta's fragile ecosystem. As of my last update, the project faced various challenges and controversies.
