C4 Rice Project

The C4 Rice Project aims to improve the efficiency of rice production by genetically modifying rice plants to utilize sunlight more effectively, similar to how some other plants, like maize, do. This enhancement, known as the C4 photosynthetic pathway, could lead to higher yields and more resilient crops in changing climates.
