Burma
Burma, also known as Myanmar, is a country in Southeast Asia bordered by China, India, Bangladesh, Laos, and Thailand. It has a rich history with diverse cultures and languages. The country gained independence from British rule in 1948 and has experienced political instability, including military coups and conflicts with ethnic groups. Its economy relies on agriculture, natural resources, and increasingly, manufacturing. In recent years, Myanmar has been transitioning toward a more open society, but political and human rights issues remain. The capital is Naypyidaw, and the largest city is Yangon.
