Breach of Performance

A breach of performance in the context of a breach of contract occurs when one party fails to fulfill their obligations as outlined in the contract. This can happen when they don’t complete their tasks, do so inadequately, or miss deadlines. Essentially, if you agreed to do something—like deliver goods or provide a service—but don’t meet those terms, you’re breaching the contract. The other party may seek remedies, such as compensation or enforcement of the contract, to address the impact of this failure on their interests.
