Bolivarian Circles
Bolivarian Circles are grassroots organizations in Venezuela that emerged in the late 1990s, inspired by the ideas of Simón Bolívar, a key figure in Latin America's independence. These circles were created to promote social, political, and economic participation among citizens, particularly to support the policies of the government led by Hugo Chávez. Members engage in community activities, education, and discussions on socialism and Bolívar's principles, aiming to empower local communities and foster solidarity. They serve as a way for the government to connect with and mobilize the populace around its socialist agenda.
