Black bear
The Black Bear is a medium-sized bear species native to North America. It has a distinctive black fur coat, though some can also be brown or cinnamon. Black Bears are adaptable omnivores, feeding on a varied diet that includes fruits, nuts, insects, and small animals. They are typically solitary and spend much of their time foraging for food. Black Bears hibernate during winter months in colder regions. They are not aggressive towards humans but can become dangerous if they feel threatened or are with cubs. Conservation efforts have helped stabilize their populations in recent years.
