Biopreparat

Biopreparat was a secretive Russian research organization associated with the Soviet Union's biological weapons program during the Cold War. Established in the 1970s, it focused on developing biological agents, such as bacteria and toxins, for military purposes. Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Biopreparat shifted its focus towards peaceful applications of biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals.
