Bibliotheca Palatina, also known as the Palatine Library, was a renowned collection of manuscripts and printed books located in Heidelberg, Germany. Established in the 14th century, it was one of the most important libraries in Europe during the Renaissance. The library housed thousands of texts, particularly in theology, philosophy, and literature. In the 17th century, many of its treasures were taken to France as spoils of war.
