Bethlehem

Bethlehem is a historic city in the West Bank, known primarily as the birthplace of Jesus Christ, a central figure in Christianity. It is located about six miles south of Jerusalem and has significant religious importance for Christians, as well as for Jews and Muslims. The city is home to the Church of the Nativity, which marks the traditional site of Jesus' birth. Bethlehem also has a rich cultural heritage, with influences from various periods and civilizations, and it continues to attract pilgrims and tourists from around the world. Its name means "House of Bread" in Hebrew.
