Battle of Malvern Hill

The Battle of Malvern Hill was fought on July 1, 1862, during the American Civil War near Richmond, Virginia. It was the last major battle of the Seven Days Battles, involving Union and Confederate forces. The Union army, under Major General McClellan, took a strong defensive position on a hilltop, which helped them repel multiple Confederate attacks.
