Base-10 System

The Base-10 system, also known as the decimal system, is a way of counting and understanding numbers using ten distinct digits: 0 through 9. Each position in a number represents a power of ten. For example, in the number 345, the '3' represents 300 (3 hundreds), the '4' represents 40 (4 tens), and the '5' represents 5 (5 ones). This system is widely used in daily life, mathematics, and science, making calculations and communication about quantities straightforward and efficient for individuals and societies.
