Baird's system of television
Baird's system of television, developed by Scottish inventor John Logie Baird in the 1920s, was one of the first to transmit moving images. Baird's approach used a rotating disk with holes to scan images and convert them into electrical signals. These signals were then sent over wires and transformed back into visible pictures on a screen. His early experiments included live broadcasts and the first transmission of a televised face. While Baird's system was limited in resolution and depended on low light, it laid crucial groundwork for the development of modern television technology.
