Azad Hind Government

The Azad Hind Government, also known as the Free India Government, was an Indian provisional government established by Indian nationalist leader Subhas Chandra Bose in 1943 while India was under British rule. It aimed to rally Indians against British colonialism and sought independence through military and diplomatic efforts, notably collaborating with Axis powers during World War II. Although it had limited recognition and control, it symbolized Indian aspirations for independence and was an important part of the struggle, inspiring later movements toward freedom from British rule.
