Asteria (mythology)
Asteria is a figure from Greek mythology known as the Titaness of oracles and falling stars. She is the daughter of the Titans Coeus and Phoebe and is often associated with the night. Asteria symbolizes the mystical and ethereal qualities of the night sky. In one myth, to escape the advances of Zeus, she transformed into a quail and then into the island of Delos, which later became significant in Greek culture. Asteria's name is linked to the stars, reflecting her connection to the cosmos and divine prophecy.
