Assurance Cases

Assurance cases are structured arguments that demonstrate the safety, reliability, or quality of a system or product. They combine evidence, reasoning, and assessments to show that certain standards or requirements are met. Think of it as a formal way of saying, “Here’s why we believe this product is safe and works well.” Assurance cases are used in various fields, such as engineering and software development, to ensure that the systems we use perform as expected and don’t pose risks to users or the environment.
