Verification and Validation (V&V) are quality processes used to ensure a product or system works correctly and meets requirements. Verification checks if the product was built correctly—confirming it matches design specifications and functions properly during development. Validation ensures the right product was built—confirming it fulfills user needs and performs effectively in real-world conditions. In essence, verification asks, "Did we build it right?" and validation asks, "Did we build the right thing?" Both steps are vital to delivering reliable, effective products.
