AS04 adjuvant system

The AS04 adjuvant system is a combination of substances used in vaccines to enhance the body's immune response. Specifically, it includes two main components: a substance called aluminum salt, which helps stimulate immune activity, and a molecule called MPL (monophosphoryl lipid A), which further boosts the immune response by activating immune cells. Together, these components help the vaccine work more effectively, leading to stronger and longer-lasting protection against diseases. AS04 has been used in vaccines for diseases like hepatitis B and human papillomavirus (HPV).
