Arthropoda

Arthropoda is a large and diverse group of animals that includes insects, arachnids (like spiders), crustaceans (such as crabs and lobsters), and myriapods (centipedes and millipedes). They are characterized by their exoskeleton (a tough outer shell), segmented bodies, and jointed limbs. This structure allows for movement and growth through molting. Arthropods are found in almost every environment on Earth—the air, water, and land—and play vital roles in ecosystems, such as pollination, decomposition, and as part of the food chain. They are the most numerous and varied group of animals on our planet.
