Armenians are an ethnic group native to Armenia, a country located in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. They have a distinct cultural and historical heritage, with a language called Armenian. Armenia is known for being one of the first nations to adopt Christianity as the state religion in the early 4th century. The Armenian Genocide, occurring during World War I, is a significant historical event that deeply affects the Armenian identity today.
