Aristotle's syllogism

Aristotle's syllogism is a form of logical reasoning that draws conclusions from two premises. It consists of three parts: a major premise, a minor premise, and a conclusion. For example: "All humans are mortal" (major), "Socrates is a human" (minor), therefore "Socrates is mortal" (conclusion). This structure helps ensure that if the premises are true, the conclusion must also be true. Syllogisms are foundational in critical thinking, allowing us to build arguments and evaluate reasoning systematically.
