ANZAC soldiers
ANZAC soldiers refers to the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps that fought together during World War I. The term is most famously associated with the Gallipoli Campaign in 1915, where they landed at Gallipoli in Turkey as part of an Allied effort to open a new front against the Ottoman Empire. The ANZACs are remembered for their bravery and camaraderie, and the day of the landing, April 25, is commemorated annually as ANZAC Day, a national day of remembrance in both Australia and New Zealand honoring all who served in military conflicts.
