Antiochian School
The Antiochian School was an American educational movement founded in the early 20th century by the Antioch College in Ohio. It emphasized experiential learning, creativity, and social engagement, encouraging students to learn through active participation and real-world projects rather than just traditional classroom instruction. The approach aimed to develop critical thinking, independence, and a sense of community. Although Antioch College continues today, the "Antiochian School" often refers to its broader philosophy that values hands-on learning and social responsibility within education.
