antimatter rocket
An antimatter rocket is a proposed spacecraft propulsion system that uses antimatter, the opposite of regular matter, as fuel. When antimatter and matter collide, they annihilate each other, releasing a tremendous amount of energy based on Einstein's famous equation, E=mc². This energy could propel a spacecraft at much greater speeds than conventional rockets, potentially allowing for faster travel to distant planets or even other star systems. While the technology to produce and store antimatter is still in its infancy and extremely costly, it represents a fascinating possibility for future space exploration.
