Anne Stine Ingstad

Anne Stine Ingstad was a Norwegian archaeologist known for her significant contributions to the understanding of Viking exploration in North America. Alongside her husband, she helped discover L'Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland, Canada, which is recognized as the first known Viking settlement in North America.
