Ankle Arthroscopy
Ankle arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat various ankle problems. During the procedure, a surgeon makes small incisions around the ankle and inserts a tiny camera called an arthroscope to see inside the joint. This allows the surgeon to identify issues like torn ligaments, cartilage damage, or loose fragments. Specialized tools can also be used to repair or clean the joint without needing large incisions. This technique typically results in less pain, quicker recovery, and less scarring compared to traditional open surgery.
