Animation Cels

Animation cels are transparent sheets used in the traditional animation process. Artists would paint characters and scenes on these cels, which are then layered and photographed to create animated sequences. Each cel could represent different frames of motion, allowing for smooth transitions and fluid animation. This technique was widely used from the early 20th century until the rise of digital animation, and original cels from classic films are often collected as valuable art pieces today.
