Anastasia (Romanov)

Anastasia Romanov was the youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, born in 1901. She was part of the royal Romanov family, which ruled Russia before the monarchy was overthrown in 1917. During the Russian Revolution, the family was imprisoned and later executed by the Bolsheviks in 1918. For many years, rumors claimed she survived the killings, leading to numerous alleged sightings and imposters. Despite these stories, historical and forensic evidence confirms that Anastasia, along with her family, was killed. Her story remains one of the most intriguing episodes of Russian history and the fall of the imperial family.
