Anaphylaxis Guidelines

Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction that can happen quickly and is life-threatening. If someone shows signs like difficulty breathing, swelling, rapid heartbeat, or a rash, it's critical to act fast. The first step is to call emergency services. If the person has an epinephrine auto-injector (like an EpiPen), use it immediately. After administering epinephrine, stay with the person and monitor their condition until help arrives. It's also important to lie the person down and elevate their legs if possible. Always follow up with medical care, even if symptoms seem to improve.
