Amun (The hidden one)

Amun, known as "The Hidden One," was a major ancient Egyptian deity. He originated as a local god of Thebes but grew to prominence and was often associated with creation and the sun. As the universe's hidden force, Amun symbolized the unseen aspects of existence, embodying mystery and power. He later merged with the sun god Ra to become Amun-Ra, representing both hidden and visible divinity. Worshiped widely, Amun was central to Egyptian religion, influencing pharaohs and the culture, and was often depicted as a man with a ram’s head or as a ram itself.
