AMOLED display

AMOLED stands for Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode. It is a type of display technology commonly used in smartphones and televisions. Unlike traditional LCD screens, which rely on a backlight, each pixel in an AMOLED display emits its own light. This allows for deeper blacks and more vibrant colors, as pixels can turn off completely to produce true black. Additionally, AMOLED displays are typically thinner and more flexible, enabling designs like curved screens. They offer better contrast ratios and can be more energy-efficient, especially when displaying darker images or interfaces.
