AMOLED vs LCD
AMOLED and LCD are two types of display technologies. AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diodes) uses organic compounds that emit light when electricity is applied, allowing each pixel to produce its own light. This results in deeper blacks, richer colors, and better contrast, and devices can be thinner and more flexible. LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), on the other hand, relies on a backlight that shines through liquid crystals and color filters to display images. LCDs are typically brighter and less expensive but may have less contrast and deeper blacks compared to AMOLED screens.
