AMOLED

AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) is a display technology used in screens like smartphones and TVs. It consists of pixels made from organic compounds that emit light when an electric current passes through them. Unlike traditional displays, each pixel in an AMOLED screen can turn on or off independently, allowing for true blacks and high contrast. The "active-matrix" part refers to a built-in system that quickly and efficiently controls each pixel, resulting in vibrant colors, faster response times, and better energy efficiency, especially when displaying darker images.
