AM Transmitter

An AM transmitter is a device that sends audio signals, like music or speech, over long distances using amplitude modulation (AM). In AM, the strength (amplitude) of the radio wave varies to encode the sound information. The transmitter converts the audio into electromagnetic waves, which are broadcasted through an antenna. These waves can be received by AM radios, which decode the changes in amplitude back into sound. AM transmission is commonly used for radio broadcasting due to its ability to cover large areas, although it is more susceptible to interference than other methods like FM (frequency modulation).
