Alfred Brasília

Alfred Brasília, commonly referred to as Brasília, is a city in Brazil known for its unique modernist architecture and urban planning. Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and urban planner Lúcio Costa, it was inaugurated as the capital of Brazil in 1960. Brasília is notable for its futuristic buildings, organized layout resembling an airplane, and extensive green spaces. The city was developed to promote population growth in the country's interior and reduce the concentration of power and resources in coastal cities like Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Its innovative design has made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
