Air Force Logistics Command
The Air Force Logistics Command (AFLC) was a major command of the United States Air Force responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain operations needed to support air missions. This included managing the procurement, distribution, and maintenance of equipment, parts, and supplies for aircraft and support systems. Essentially, AFLC ensured that the Air Force had the necessary resources and support to operate effectively, ensuring readiness and efficiency in missions. Although it was dissolved in 1994, its functions were integrated into other commands focused on logistics and support.
